The 2-Wire Surveillance kit is pretty much the standard for discreet radio communications and the PMLN6123 "3-Wire Kit" takes it one step further. With the 2-wire kit, users are forced to bring the combined PTT/mic close to their throat, making it very obvious when transmitting. That problem is eliminated by using this 3-wire kit, which features a palm/wrist activated PTT and the microphone on a separate wire near the user's throat. This earpiece also features Motorola's IMPRES enhanced audio to level out audio automatically. There's no need to crank your volume up when receiving transmissions from quiet talkers or fluster to turn the volume down when someone yells into their microphone.
