Vertex Standard Radios rebranded under Motorola Solutions Brand

Its been almost 6 years since Motorola acquired Vertex Standard in 2012. In January, 2018, Vertex standard radios will rebrand as Motorola radios. Motorola mentioned "This alignment maximizes the strengths of both names to best serve the marketplace." Many Vertex radios have been discontinued due to the transition. CP200 Cancellation Notice

Motorola has announced the cancelation the Motorola CP200, CP200XLS, PR400, CM200, CM300 and the PM400. The last day to order is November 22nd. Even though these are models are being discontinued you can still receive service support for the radios by calling your Account Rep. The recommended digital replacements are as follows:

Introducing the Motorola CP200d

Motorola released the Motorola CP200d on Monday. The CP200d is an extension of the popular CP, or Commercial Series of two way radios. The CP200d comes with MOTOTRBO features, but at the price point of a CP200. It can be purchased as an analog radio, and later upgraded to digital, or a digital out-of-the-box radio.
